CSH offers lessons for all ages and abilities, specializing in Horsemanship, English, Western, Beginners and Children. Lessons can be on your horse or our well trained ponies & horses.

Lessons for children
Ages 6yo and up
30-Min Private Lesson
This is a 30 minute, hands-on, private lesson where your child gets one-on-one personal attention.
30-Min Family Lesson
This is a 30 minute group lesson with two family members. Can be siblings, cousins, or parent and child.
Children Package
This package includes FIVE, 30 minute private lessons. Lessons must be used within 60 days of purchase and can be up to two lessons a week. With this package you get ONE lesson FREE!
Lessons For Adults
Adult lesson program may also be suitable for adolescents and teenagers with previous riding education. Please ask if your more advanced child qualifies.
60-Min Private Lesson
This is an hour lesson with one-on-one personalized attention. This is best suited for beginners, adults getting back into riding after some time off or advanced riders wanting to delve deeper into a problem or personalized skill development.
Adult Private Lesson Package
This package includes FOUR 60 minute private lessons. Lessons must be used within 60 days of purchase and no more than one lesson per week. With this package you get ONE lesson FREE!

Canyon State Horsemanship has experienced, calm lesson horses available. A safe pony for children and small adults and larger safe, experienced horse for bigger adults. You may also bring your horse for lessons or CSH can travel to you within 25 miles of Snowflake, AZ.
CSH may travel to you to give lessons if you are within 25 miles of Snowflake, AZ. Regular lessons are held at Taylor Fairgrounds in Taylor, AZ twice a week on your horse or ours.
CSH does not have a weight limit if you are riding your own horse. CSH horses have a weight limit of 145lbs for ponies and 180lbs for horses.
CSH provides BOTH English and Western riding lessons. Jumping lessons are also available after rider evaluation. Specialities such as gymkhana and other western sports are also available after evaluation.
CSH requires all children and beginner riders to wear a helmet. If you do not have your own, CSH has loaner helmets available in most sizes. CSH also requires riders to wear long pants and boots with a heel. If you are not sure your equipment is suitable, CSH will gladly assist you in the process of obtaining and evaluating your equipment.
