Host: Dos Lomas Wild Ranch, non-profit 501(c)3 wild horse sanctuary and rehabilitation center

*all entries are a tax deductible donation to the sanctuary

Entries due: May 30th, 2026 - LIMITED ENTRIES


Schedule:

    •    7:00 AM Check in

    •    8:00 AM to 10:00 AM Clinic

    •    10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Open Practice

    •    2:00 PM Challenge Start

    •    Awards at end of challenge


Entry Fee: $75 per equine/human combination

Entry Includes: Obstacle clinic- navigating over 30 obstacles, day use facility fee, open obstacle practice and Challenge entry (challenge is optional, all other activities mandatory)

Prizes: Awards for the top five placings


Overnight pens and dry camping are available if needed

$15 per overnight stall 

$15 overnight camping per person 


Rules: This event is for both ridden and in-hand participants. Horses, burros, donkeys and mules may enter.

This is a fun event meant to encourage confidence building and sportsmanship.

Ridden horses MUST be a minimum of 3yrs old. There is no age limit for equine entrants. Youth must all wear a helmet while riding (youth are ages 17 and below). There are no tack requirements. ALL riders must wear long pants and boots with heels. Helmets are HIGHLY encouraged.
